Job Description

As a Media Operations Technician, your role will involve managing various aspects of video operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Utilizing your 4+ years of experience in video to work with concepts such as timecode, frame rate, AV codecs, editing, timed text formats, and understanding multiple video file formats and compression techniques. - Demonstrating proficiency in industry-standard video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer. - Managing assets, storage, and systems efficiently, including familiarity with cloud-based storage solutions and file transfer protocols such as AWS S3, GCP, FTP, or Aspera. - Handling media asset management (MAM) systems and digital archiving practices effectively. - Having awareness of copyright laws and licensing agreements related to digital content distribution. - Troubleshooting technical issues related to video encoding, transcoding, and playback. - Being familiar with content protection measures. - Communicating effectively through written, verbal, and listening skills, and being able to describe issues via email. - Managing multiple tasks simultaneously, showcasing organizational skills, punctuality, and adaptability to changing expectations.
