Role Overview: As a Brand Protection Analyst at Fortinet, you will be a part of the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the manager and collaborate with your peers to assist multiple customers in safeguarding their online brand identity and presence. Your goal is to ensure timely detection and removal of any trademark, intellectual property, or copyright infringements against their brands. Additionally, you will contribute to auditing and enhancing processes related to detection, reporting, and takedowns. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and analyze online content across various platforms such as social media sites, websites, app stores, search engines, code repositories, and cloud repositories for any violations of customers" intellectual property, trademark, copyright rights, and impersonation. - Engage in online enforcement actions by reporting infringing online content to relevant platforms, Internet intermediaries, and third parties. - Conduct status monitoring for enforced online content and collaborate with stakeholders for the escalation of takedown requests. - Handle pushbacks from platforms and third parties, escalating issues to the manager when necessary. - Coordinate with customer support and the manager to verify customers" copyright, IP, trademark details, and authority. - Develop relationships with platforms, Internet intermediaries, and third parties to streamline takedown processes. - Maintain accurate records of takedown activities and statuses. - Assist customer support with inquiries, research, and report composition when needed. - Contribute ideas for automation, enhanced visualization, and data presentation to improve existing systems and products. An excellent understanding of Indian labour legislation, copyright laws, and statutory frameworks is essential, and certifications in Labour Law or Compliance will be advantageous.
