Job Description

As a Media Planner at Story Digital, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven media strategies to enhance brand awareness and meet campaign objectives for our diverse client base. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting audience research, selecting appropriate media channels, optimizing campaign performance, and providing valuable insights to drive effective media plans. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Developing comprehensive media plans in alignment with client objectives, target audience, and KPIs, while ensuring cost-efficiency. - Conducting audience research using various tools to understand audience characteristics, preferences, and media consumption habits. - Selecting relevant media channels based on factors like reach, frequency, and target audience behavior, including digital, OTT, Programmatic Advertising, and Native Apps Advertising. - Monitoring campaign performance, analyzing data, and making optimization recommendations to enhance media plans. - Collaborating closely with creative and content teams to align media plans with brand messaging and guidelines. - Managing relationships with media vendors, negotiating rates, and staying updated on industry trends and new advertising opportunities. - Generating regular reports, presenting findings to clients and internal stakeholders, and providing actionable insights for future media plans based on data analysis. To be successful in this role, you should have: - A minimum of 2 years of experience in media planning, preferably in a digital agency or media organization. - Proficiency in media planning and research tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, and social media analytics platforms. - Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms, traditional media channels, and emerging media trends. - Familiarity with media buying principles, negotiation strategies, and industry regulations. - Understanding of performance marketing and experience in performance tracking and optimization would be advantageous.
