Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Mechatronics Engineer Intern to support our multidisciplinary R&D team. The role involves contributing to the development, integration, and testing of robotic systems that combine mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of robotic mechanisms and actuators.
  • Integrate sensors, motor drivers, and embedded controllers into robotic platforms.
  • Work on prototyping, assembly, and testing of mechatronic systems.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, and software teams for system integration.
  • Support debugging and troubleshooting during hardware and software integration phases.
  • Document technical findings, test results, and improvements.
  • Participate in field trials and provide real-time technical support.

Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of mechanics, electronics, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with sensors (IMU, ultrasonic, IR), actuators (servo, stepper, DC motors), and motor drivers.
  • Experience with basic embedded programming (Arduino, STM32, or Raspberry Pi).
  • Proficient in CAD tools (SolidWorks/Fusion 360) and basic circuit design (Proteus/Eagle).
  • Problem-solving attitude and interest in hands-on prototyping.

Added Advantage

  • Exposure to robotic platforms, mobile robots, or automation systems.
  • Understanding of control algorithms (PID, feedback systems).
  • Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, or SLAM is advantageous.

Experience : 0 - 1 Years

Qualification :

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering.

Location : Technopark, Thiruvanathapuram
