Key Responsibilities
• Supervise, plan, and execute mechanical maintenance, installation, and repair
activities for all plant machinery, equipment, and utilities.
• Monitor and ensure smooth functioning of production equipment, including
preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Lead a team of technicians and contractors in troubleshooting mechanical
issues, ensuring quick resolution.
• Review mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and equipment
manuals for proper installation and upkeep.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, spares inventory, and equipment history
for audits and cost control.
• Implement and enforce safety, health, and environmental guidelines for all
mechanical operations.
• Coordinate with production, electrical, and civil teams during plant expansion
or modification projects.
Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or supervision within a
manufacturing or heavy engineering plant.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps,
compressors, and HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with preventive/predictive maintenance software (CMMS) and root
cause analysis methods.
• Good understanding of ISO, Safety , and statutory compliance for
manufacturing units.
