Mechanical Estimator

📍 Location: Gurgaon

💼 Experience: 1 – 3 Years (Exposure to U.S. Projects Preferred)

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and piping systems

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope

• Perform quantity take-offs using estimating software and industry standards

• Analyze vendor/subcontractor quotes for equipment and materials

• Develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work

• Coordinate with senior estimators/project managers for competitive bids

• Participate in pre-bid meetings and scope clarifications

• Maintain labor/material databases and supplier contacts

• Support value engineering and cost-saving alternatives

• Ensure compliance with U.S. codes and industry standards

🎓 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• 1 – 3 years of experience in mechanical estimating

• Proficient in estimating software (Bluebeam, Planswift, Trimble, FastPIPE, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems

• Familiarity with U.S. construction codes, ASHRAE, SMACNA, and CSI divisions

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and MS Office skills
