Job Summary: The Mechanical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical works such as fabrication, laser cutting, HVAC, piping, structural steel, or general metalworks based on project drawings, specifications, and scope. This role involves analyzing project requirements, sourcing material and labor costs, and preparing competitive quotations and tenders. Key Responsibilities: Review and interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents. Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted services. Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations to determine the most cost-effective solutions. Coordinate with design and production teams to understand fabrication and manufacturing requirements.
