Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mechanical Engineering Faculty specialising in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing). The role involves delivering high-quality academic instruction, mentoring students, and ensuring industry practices are integrated into the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct lectures, practical sessions, and workshops in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on MEP and NDT.

Design and update course materials, lesson plans, and lab manuals.

Train students on industry-relevant tools, codes, and certifications.

Guide students in academic projects, internships, and industry-based learning.

Keep up-to-date with advancements in MEP systems and NDT techniques.

Collaborate with faculty peers to continuously improve curriculum and training delivery.

Provide mentoring, academic support, and career guidance to students.

Participate in institutional development activities including research, consultancy, and industry tie-ups.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (PhD preferred but not mandatory).

Certifications or specialisation in MEP and NDT.

Prior teaching, training, or industry experience in Mechanical Engineering with focus on MEP/NDT.

Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting systems (for MEP) and NDT techniques (UT, RT, PT, MT, ET, etc.).

Excellent communication, teaching, and presentation skills.

Passion for student development and skill-building.

Preferred Skills

Experience in delivering skill-based training programs.

Familiarity with ASNT/ISO standards in NDT.

Hands-on exposure to lab equipment and modern simulation tools.

Industry connections that support placements and internships.
