  • Maintain comprehensive WTG, HT, BOP, and vehicle logs according to company requirements.
  • Conduct safe run/Handover Takeover (HOTO) inspections of newly installed WTGs, including drive train vibration analysis, motor replacement, and lift wire rope replacement.
  • Inspect and manage conditional storage of wind turbine components at the site.
  • Analyze WTG data to implement proactive measures and optimize turbine performance.
  • Periodically review manuals to ensure qualitative work and perform unscheduled activities such as gearbox oil changes, gearbox endoscopy, and yaw & pitch drive oil replacement.
  • Supervise major activities like generator and blade replacement, generator DE & NDE bearing replacement, and yaw caliper brake pad replacement.
  • Perform special activities including Generator DE & NDE bearing inspection & replacement, ABB & LS Generator Slip ring Drum replacement, Torque Limiter replacement, PM3000 Converter replacement with hose pipe modification, Coupling replacement, Brake disc replacement, Brake Caliper replacement, CCU & GCU Unit Mechanical Sealed replacement, Generator Alignment using Laser Alignment kit, and CCU & GCU Unit Radiator replacement.
  • Ensure effective utilization of equipment and manpower to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules to improve overall equipment reliability and safety.
  • Monitor turbines and provide rapid fault response to increase equipment availability.
  • Communicate a positive and constructive approach, demonstrating innovation in problem-solving.
  • Prepare system-based maintenance data to reduce maintenance costs.
  • Review historical records of key machines for repeated breakdowns, performing analysis, and carrying out necessary corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in operation and maintenance, specifically with Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs).
  • Demonstrated expertise in mechanical systems of WTGs, including gearboxes, bearings, braking systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certified in Work at Height, First-Aid, Fire Fighting, and Manual Material Handling .
  • Proficiency in SAP platform for maintenance and materials management (NCR, PR, PO, GRN, STO, Work Order creation and completion).
