Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Power Electronics Product Design

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design and development of power electronics products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in core mechanical design principles, including creepage and clearance requirements, efficient thermal management strategies for heat dissipation, design considerations for achieving IP ratings, material knowledge, and FEA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize mechanical designs for power electronics products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize advanced design tools for 3D concept design, component placement, and detailed modelling.
• Apply core mechanical design rules to enhance product reliability and performance.
• Implement effective thermal management solutions for heat dissipation in power components.
• Design for IP ratings, ensuring protection against dust and moisture ingress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and thermal requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes such as cutting, bending, welding, bolting, and coating.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and coordinate effectively with suppliers for manufacturing.
• Perform FEA for design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and thermal analysis software.
• Proficient in 3D concept design and component placement strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
