Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Mechanical Engineer with experience in designing, developing, and commissioning of machinery for optical fiber cable manufacturing. The role involves end-to-end mechanical design, development, and support for high-precision machines used in fiber optic cable production processes.Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical systems for optical fiber cable manufacturing equipment.
Review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Lead testing, and validation of machine components and assemblies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, controls, and production departments.
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and implement corrective measures in existing machines.
Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety guidelines, and performance criteria.
Support project planning, timelines, and execution from concept to commissioning.

Key Skills and Competencies

Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
Experience with machinery used in optical fiber cable production is highly preferred.
Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, gear assemblies, and machine frames.
Problem-solving and analytical thinking for complex mechanical systems.

Education and Experience

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2–3 years of experience in mechanical engineering for industrial or optical fiber cable manufacturing machinery is highly preferred
Monthly salary will be in the range of 25000 to 35000 per month.
