Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draughtsman cum Estimation Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed mechanical drawings, 3D models, and accurate cost estimations for fabrication, manufacturing, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or other CAD software).
• Develop fabrication, assembly, and layout drawings as per project and client specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, sketches, and design data to create accurate and clear designs.
• Perform material take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation for mechanical projects.
• Work closely with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure technical and commercial accuracy.
• Assist in quotation preparation and project costing for tenders or client inquiries.
• Maintain and update drawing records, documentation, and revision history.
• Support design engineers during design reviews, fabrication, and site implementation.
• Ensure all designs comply with company standards, safety norms, and quality requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or draughtsman related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design, drafting, and estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical components, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in cost estimation, BOQ, and material costing.
• Good understanding of engineering standards, tolerances, and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in metal,Wooden , or fabrication design.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, costing methods, or estimation tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
