Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Assist in creating 3D models, 2D drawings, and assemblies using SolidWorks & NX. Support senior engineers in product design, modifications, and documentation. Prepare manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documents under guidance. Learn and apply GD&T and basic tolerance analysis in drawings. Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into designs. Provide design support during prototype development and testing. Maintain design files and documentation in PDM/PLM systems. Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams for design feasibility. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (or equivalent). Basic to intermediate knowledge of SolidWorks & Siemens NX (modeling, assemblies, drafting). Familiarity with manufacturing processes (sheet metal, machining, fabrication, casting). Understanding of engineering drawing standards & GD&T. Strong willingness to learn advanced design practices, analysis, and tools. Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Experience:0–2 years of experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks and/or NX. Internship or academic project experience in CAD design will be an added advantage. Growth Path: This role offers structured learning opportunities with exposure to: Advanced CAD features & design optimization. CAE/Simulation (FEA, motion analysis, etc.). Hands-on manufacturing & prototyping. Gradual responsibility for independent projects and client interactions.
