Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer based in Bengaluru. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical designs and technical documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing design calculations and design validation, and participating in project planning. The role includes producing detailed drawings, 3D modeling, conducting design reviews, and ensuring compliance with applicable engineering standards and codes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in mechanical design, 3D modeling, and technical drawing software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools,PLM,Enovia
• Strong understanding of materials science, mechanical systems, and structural design principles
• Experience in performing design calculations, and knowledge of engineering standards and codes
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to conduct innovative research and development
• Excellent organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
• Experience in the metals, mining, energy, or water treatment sector is highly desirable
