Job Description

The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Traction Transformer design.
Responsible for mechanical development of Traction Transformer s order and tender designs in compliance with the Market and Sales Strategy to meet the market needs.
Responsible for Preparation of Customer documents, Manufacturing drawings, Bill of materials etc & submission to customer as per project schedule.
Understanding of Transformer mechanical design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit and sound performance and transformer mechanics
Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.
Participation in internal design concept reviews.
Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference.
Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

Your background

Candidate should hold a degree in B.E / B. Tech Mechanical Engineering with 2-8 Years Experience working in Mechanical design for Transformers/ Heavy Engineering industry/ pump/ Bearing/ Gear/ Automobiles manufacturing Industry.
Knowledge on CAD software, any 3D Modelling software is a must. Creo is considered as an advantage.
Experience in Windchill PLM is desirable.
Should understand Mechanical Design concepts & calculations, Dielectrics, clearance/creepage, basic layout and electromechanical.
Should have good understanding of IEEE Standards & Global Standards.
Experience in Simulation or software development would be advantageous.
Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
