Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and supervise microbiological tests on clinical specimens (bacterial, fungal, viral, and parasitic).
• Ensure compliance with standard laboratory protocols and quality assurance practices.
• Provide timely and accurate reports to clinicians and support clinical decision-making.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as per regulatory standards.
• Train and guide junior staff / technicians as required.
• Liaise with hospital/clinic departments for infection control and surveillance activities.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• MD in Microbiology from a recognized university.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a diagnostic centre or hospital laboratory.
• Good knowledge of NABL/ISO quality standards.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a team and work in a fast-paced environment.
