Role - Math Expert

Type - Hourly Contract

Mode - Remote

Pay - $20–$30 per hour


PhD holders, doctoral candidates, and exceptional Master’s graduate


Key Domains

  • Real, Complex, & Functional Analysis
  • Complex Analysis / Spectrum Theory / Fourier Analysis
  • Ordinary & Partial Differential Equations
  • Mathematical Physics / Dynamical Systems


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and audit submitted data, including prompts, solutions, final answers, references, and metadata.
  • Evaluate task quality using structured rubrics (8–10 criteria) for clarity, correctness, and logical consistency.
  • Verify accuracy of solutions, reasoning steps, and chain-of-thoughts, identifying any flaws or inconsistencies.
  • Provide concise, well-reasoned written feedback to justify evaluation decisions.
  • Work independently and asynchronously using provided tools and workflows.


Qualifications

  • PhD (candidate/recipient) or Master’s in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
  • Expertise in one or more of the following: algebra, geometry, number theory, combinatorics, probability, graph theory.
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.
