Material Coordinator

Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Material Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of material management, from ordering to inventory management to distribution. The Material Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all materials are available for production and that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the ordering of materials required for production
• Ensure that all materials are available for production as and when required
• Track inventory levels and ensure that they are maintained at optimal levels
• Monitor the movement of materials to and from the warehouse
• Ensure that all materials are properly labeled and stored
• Maintain accurate records of all materials
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure that materials are available for production
• Develop and implement material management policies and procedures
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Monitor the quality of materials received from suppliers

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics or a related field
• 5-15 years of experience in material management
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management software
