Material Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Coordinator to manage and coordinate all interior design project materials. The role involves sourcing, procurement, vendor coordination, inventory management, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to site. The ideal candidate should have experience in interior design projects, excellent organizational skills, and knowledge of materials used in residential and commercial interiors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate procurement, delivery, and tracking of all interior design materials.
• Source and finalize vendors for interior finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
• Maintain accurate records of material requirements, purchase orders, and stock.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and site supervisors to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Conduct material quality checks and ensure specifications match project requirements.
• Prepare and update BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and assist in cost estimation.
• Follow up with suppliers on lead times, logistics, and timely delivery.
• Maintain an organized material library and database of vendors.
• Support site team in resolving material-related issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Interior Design, Civil, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in material coordination, procurement, or interior project management.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishes, materials, and vendors.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic AutoCAD (preferred).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
