Master Data Management Consultant

Job Summary:

MDM Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Master Data Management (MDM):

• Lead the

  creation, maintenance, validation, and governance of master data

  including materials, vendors, customers, and financial data.
• Define and enforce

  MDM standards, policies, and procedures

  across SAP and HIS systems.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to

  ensure data consistency, accuracy, and quality

  .
• Manage

  data cleansing, de-duplication, enrichment

  , and migration activities using tools like

  LSMW, BODS, or MDG

  .
• Monitor and resolve data quality issues, working proactively with system users and stakeholders.
• Conduct data audits and compliance checks.

SAP FICO:

• Ensure accurate master data for

  General Ledger, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, and Fixed Assets

  .
• Maintain data alignment between

  financial systems and operational systems

  (like HIS).
• Support finance teams in

  month-end and year-end close

  processes by ensuring clean and correct master data.
• Manage mapping and data reconciliation between

  SAP and HIS billing or accounting subsystems

  .

SAP MM:

• Manage

  Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchase Info Records, and Source Lists

  .
• Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and warehousing teams to maintain accurate material and vendor data.
• Ensure proper configuration of

  units of measure, valuation classes, purchasing groups

  , and other critical attributes.
• Maintain cross-functional data consistency with

  FICO and HIS inventory/consumables systems

  .

HIS (Hospital Information System):

• Align HIS master data (e.g., patient master, billing codes, treatment codes, consumables) with SAP MM and FICO data structures.
• Ensure interoperability and data integrity across clinical and financial systems.
• Collaborate with hospital departments (Finance, Pharmacy, Procurement) for consistent data mapping.
• Support HISSAP integration for

  billing, procurement, inventory, and cost allocation

  .

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with

  SAP FICO, MM

  , and

  MDM processes

  .
• Experience with

  HIS systems

  (e.g., Cerner, Meditech, TrakCare, or custom-built HIS platforms).
• Proficiency in

  data governance tools

  , data cleansing, and data migration techniques.
• Solid understanding of

  healthcare operations and data flows

  (preferred).
• Good analytical and documentation skills.
• SAP MDG or any MDM tool exposure is a plus.
