Job Description

Role & responsibilities

ICU / HDU Nurse

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU/HDU.
Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and promptly report changes to the medical team.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
Manage and operate medical equipment such as ventilators, monitors, and infusion pumps.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Assist physicians during procedures and ensure smooth coordination within the multidisciplinary team.

OT Nurse

Prepare and maintain the operation theatre ensuring aseptic conditions at all times.
Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures.
Handle surgical instruments and specimens responsibly.
Monitor patient condition before, during, and after surgery.
Ensure proper sterilization, equipment readiness, and record maintenance as per NABH standards.
Support postoperative care and smooth patient transfer.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Qualification:
GNM / B.Sc. Nursing
with valid
WBNC Registration (mandatory)

Experience:
5-10 years
in ICU/HDU or OT in a reputed multispeciality / NABH-accredited hospital.
Sound clinical knowledge with hands-on experience in critical or perioperative nursing care.
Excellent communication, observation, and teamwork skills.
Compassionate, disciplined, and patient-focused professional.
Willing to work in
rotational shifts
and handle medical emergencies confidently.
