Marketing Sales Officer

Position: Marketing and sales officer

Experience:

3 years in sales /marketing role in hotels or hospitality.

some exposure to handling client accounts ,cordinating campaigns ,with a proven record of achieving targets.Experience across different segments (corporate ,leisure,MICE etc ).
Key Skills & Technical Competencies

Strong communication & negotiation skills to strong deals ,manage client relationships(corporate clients travel agents,event planners)

Marketing & branding knwoledge ability to plan and run campaigns (both onlinle&offline),understanding the brand postitioning of the hotel .Digital skills social media ,email marketing,website content,digital advertising ;often some familiarity with analytics and ROI mesiurments .

Additional preferences

CRM/sales tools knowing sles tracking ,coustomer relationship management software,ability to maintain client data ,forecast ect.

Market research & competetitive analysis understanding the local market in kerala,competitor hotels ,seasonal demand ect.Local /regional knwoledge :understanting of tourism trends in kerala ,local culture ,language skills (Malayalam ,English & Hindi(optional),networking with local businesses.

Required Experience and Qualifications
Bachelors degree usually in Hospitality Management, Business Administration,Marketing,commerce or related field.Some hotels prefer an MBA or post graduate in marketing /Hotel management for senior roles.

Relevent certification in digital marketing ,revenue management,or hotel sales or specialised courses(eg: in CRM,Socaicl media marketing ) (optional)
