Job Description

As a Marketing and Sales Officer, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, coordinating campaigns, and achieving targets in various segments such as corporate, leisure, and MICE. Your key responsibilities will include: - Strong communication and negotiation skills to close deals and manage client relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners. - Utilizing marketing and branding knowledge to plan and execute campaigns both online and offline, understanding the hotel's brand positioning. - Demonstrating digital skills in social media, email marketing, website content management, digital advertising, and familiarity with analytics and ROI measurements. - Proficiency in CRM and sales tools to track sales, manage customer relationships, maintain client data, and forecast effectively. - Conducting market research and competitive analysis to understand the local market in Kerala, seasonal demand, and competitor hotels, along with regional knowledge of tourism trends, local culture, and language skills. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or related fields. Some hotels may prefer candidates with an MBA or post-graduate degree in Marketing or Hotel Management for senior roles. Additionally, relevant certifications in digital marketing, revenue management, hotel sales, or specialized courses in CRM and social media marketing would be advantageous (optional). As a full-time Marketing and Sales Officer, you will leverage your experience of at least 3 years in sales and marketing roles within the hotel or hospitality industry to excel in this dynamic and challenging position.
