Position: Marketing & Sales Manager – Corporate Interior Fit-Outs
Location: Bangalore (with travel across South India as required)
Qualification: MBA / BBA / B.Com / Any Graduate with sales/marketing aptitude
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 (fixed + incentives)
Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday
Mode of Work: On-site + Client Visits
Job Brief:
Kess Construction is seeking a smart, energetic, and articulate Marketing & Sales Manager with 2–5 years of experience. The role involves approaching corporate clients, empaneling Kess as a vendor for large-scale interior fit-out projects, and managing long-cycle B2B sales. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Kannada, strong persuasion ability, and a client-facing presence.
You will represent Kess Construction in front of senior decision-makers in banks, NBFCs, corporates, and institutions, presenting our company’s expertise, infrastructure, and pan-India execution capacity. This role requires patience, persistence, and professionalism to navigate empanelment processes, follow-ups, and deal closures in high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Client Engagement & Empanelment:
1.1. Approach corporates and financial institutions to present Kess Construction’s credentials.
1.2. Explain company capabilities — project execution, vendor network, labor and technical capacity, and pan-India coverage.
1.3. Handle empanelment processes, submitting statutory documents (GST, licenses, certificates) and past POs as required.
1.4. Build strong client impressions by showcasing professionalism, credibility, and execution excellence.
2.Sales & Follow-Up:
2.1. Manage long-cycle sales (2–6 months) with strategic follow-ups via calls, emails, and visits.
2.2. Conduct cold calls, schedule meetings, and build relationships with facility managers, procurement heads, and VPs.
2.3. Identify client requirements, BOQ expectations, project scope, and profitability parameters.
2.4. Provide detailed project inputs to the Project Manager for feasibility assessment.
3.Strategic Communication & Closing:
3.1. Ask the right questions to understand client needs (branch expansions, strong rooms, lockers, finishing expectations).
3.2. Present tailored solutions, negotiate rates, and highlight the company’s ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
3.3. Tackle objections tactfully, ensuring clients view Kess as a reliable and capable partner.
3.4. Support project managers with BOQ evaluation and ensure deals are worth pursuing.
4.Reporting & Ownership:
4.1. Share weekly updates on leads approached, companies targeted, and follow-ups done.
4.2. Take ownership of the sales pipeline and contribute directly to the company’s growth vision.
4.3. Work closely with leadership to align on target companies and sales approach.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
2–5 years of experience in marketing/sales, preferably in construction, interiors, or B2B services.
Excellent communication and convincing skills in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
Must own a two-wheeler/four-wheeler and a laptop.
Ability to travel locally and regionally as needed (expenses reimbursed by company).
Knowledge of corporate empanelment processes and statutory compliance preferred.
High energy, street-smart attitude, and maturity in client-facing interactions.
Strong follow-up discipline and ability to manage long-cycle B2B sales.
Additional Qualifications:
MBA/Graduate in Marketing, Sales, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Background in financial institutions or retail interiors is an added advantage.
Strong self-motivation and ownership mindset to contribute to company’s growth targets.
