Marketing Manager – Textile Processing & Finishing Machineries

We are looking for an experienced Marketing & Sales Professional from the textile processing and finishing machinery industry to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with machines such as stenters, dryers, washers, compactors, mercerizers, coating/lamination lines, digital finishing systems, and related wet-processing equipment.

The role includes market development, lead generation, technical marketing, customer management, and product promotion for processing & finishing machinery.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing

• Generate leads and convert sales for textile processing & finishing machines.

• Promote machinery to textile mills, garment units, processing houses, and integrated facilities.

• Meet quarterly and annual sales targets.

Customer Engagement

• Handle enquiries, prepare quotations, and conduct techno-commercial discussions.

• Visit customer sites for demonstrations, presentations, and requirement analysis.

• Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in mills.

Market Development

• Identify new customers and unexplored textile hubs across India.

• Track competitor activities (A.T.E., Voltas, Batliboi, etc.).

• Develop marketing campaigns, exhibitions, seminars, and product presentations.

Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with OEM partners, principals, and technical teams.

• Support installation discussions with customers (no service work required).

• Provide basic troubleshooting guidance before handing over to service teams.

Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports.

• Maintain CRM records and sales funnel progress.

• Analyse market trends and submit strategy suggestions.

Required Experience

Mandatory Industry Background

Candidates must have worked in marketing or sales of textile processing or finishing machinery such as:

• Stenters

• Dryers

• Washing ranges

• Compacting machines

• Coating & lamination lines

• Mercerizers

• Bleaching/wet processing machines

• Finishing lines

Experience Level

• 3 to 12 years in sales/marketing of textile machinery.

• Candidates from A.T.E., Voltas, Batliboi, Lakshmi Card Clothing, Bakubhai Ambalal, or any European/Chinese agency preferred.

Key Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of textile processing & finishing operations

• Excellent communication & negotiation skills

• Ability to independently manage territories

• Strong customer relationship skills

• Willingness to travel for customer visits

Education

• B.Tech / Diploma in Textile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering

• MBA (Marketing) preferred but not compulsory

Salary Range

₹4,00,000 to ₹15,00,000 per annum (depending on experience & network)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
