Marketing Director

As the Marketing Director at Sikh Research Institute (SikhRI), you will play a crucial role in shaping the brand's presence by translating the organization's mission into powerful narratives that resonate globally. Your responsibilities will include: - **Brand & Strategy:** - Define and evolve SikhRI's brand positioning to ensure consistency across all platforms. - Develop annual and quarterly marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals. - Create a distinctive brand voice that embodies Sikh values and remains relevant in the contemporary world. - **Content & Campaign Leadership:** - Oversee digital, print, and experiential marketing campaigns for SikhRI programs, courses, and events. - Collaborate with internal teams to design and launch integrated campaigns to increase awareness, engagement, and participation. - Lead storytelling efforts across social media, newsletters, podcasts, and video channels. - **Digital Growth & Analytics:** - Drive growth across digital platforms through SEO, SEM, social media, and partnerships. - Track and analyze marketing performance to provide actionable insights for optimization. - Leverage data-driven approaches to improve user engagement and retention. - **Community Engagement:** - Cultivate and expand the SikhRI community through meaningful outreach and content. - Manage strategic collaborations and partnerships with institutions, influencers, and thought leaders to drive innovation and growth. - **Leadership & Team Development:** - Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team (internal and freelance). - Foster cross-functional collaboration with content, design, education, and development teams. **Qualifications:** - **Essential:** - 8-12 years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong background in brand building, digital marketing, and campaign management. - Proven ability to craft and communicate compelling stories that inspire diverse audiences. - Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) and content management systems. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - **Preferred:** - Experience in mission-driven, educational, or cultural organizations. - Understanding or interest in Sikh principles, heritage, and values. - Global mindset with sensitivity to diverse audiences.
