Job Description

Marketing Automation Traffic Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Coordination:

  • Assist in the management of marketing automation project intake, including journey/nurture programs, triggered emails, and lead generation campaigns.
  • Review all incoming requests

    for the marketing automation team.
  • Communicate with business requestors

    to gather missing items and set expectations on SLAs.
  • Assign tasks appropriately

    to the email marketing team.
  • Expertise & Guidance:

  • Advise and guide divisional marketing requestors on

    best practices

    for marketing automation capabilities, testing, and projected results.
  • Serve as a

    Subject Matter Expert

    on marketing automation, including database management, targeting/segmenting, and email deliverability.
  • Quality & Process:

  • Build and maintain request forms

    to ensure a smooth hand-off between requestors and the team.
  • Troubleshoot any issues

    pertaining to marketing automation requests, communicating with all parties to find a resolution.
  • Serve as

    quality assurance

    to ensure brand compliance across all email and landing page assets.
  • Follow marketing automation processes and

    workflow documentation

    to improve efficiency and reduce risk of human error.
  • Performance:

  • Meet or exceed internal SLAs

    and seamlessly coordinate across time zones as needed.

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Experience:

  • A minimum of

    4 years of project management experience

    , with at least

    1 year focused on managing marketing projects

    .
  • Experience working with a

    Marketing Automation tool

    such as

    Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Eloqua, HubSpot, or Salesforce Pardot

    .
  • Previous familiarity and direct experience using a

    CRM system

    (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience managing an email marketing team.
  • Tools:

  • Hands-on experience with any project management tool like

    JIRA, Workfront, Asana, or Zoho

    .
  • Education:

  • A

    Bachelor's Degree

    is required, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Competencies:

  • Excellent project management and communication skills

    (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment with colleagues up and down the organization.
  • A motivated, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, iterative, deadline-driven environment.
