Role Overview:

Marketing Automation Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Campaign Management

Plan, create, and implement Email & WhatsApp campaigns in alignment with the marketing calendar.

Collaborate with content, design, and sales teams to develop engaging campaign concepts.

Monitor, test, and optimize for maximum reach, engagement, and conversion.

2. Segmentation & Targeting

Perform audience segmentation and smart targeting for personalized campaigns.

Manage and maintain segmented email lists and WhatsApp contact groups.

Maintain data hygiene and ensure accurate CRM database updates.

3. Strategic Ownership

Provide data-driven recommendations for new campaigns, creative angles, and audience targeting.

Conduct competitor analysis and track industry trends to improve campaign effectiveness.

Align campaigns with broader marketing goals and brand positioning.

4. Testing & Optimization

Conduct A/B testing for subject lines, content, and send times.

Track and analyze campaign performance via ESP analytics and Google Analytics.

Optimize based on KPIs such as open rate, CTR, and conversions.

5. CRM & Integration Skills

Integrate Email & WhatsApp marketing platforms with CRM tools like HubSpot, Zoho, or Salesforce.

Implement and manage automation workflows using Mailchimp, Zapier, Pabbly, or similar tools.

Utilize API and webhook integrations for lead management and reporting.

6. Compliance & Best Practices

Ensure adherence to GDPR, TRAI guidelines, and WhatsApp Business policies.

Manage opt-in/opt-out processes and maintain audience trust.

7. Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in FMCG or D2C sectors preferred.

Understanding of audience cultural nuances for personalized engagement.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors Degree in Technology, Marketing, or related field.

3 to 5 years of experience in Email & WhatsApp marketing.

Proficiency in ESPs like Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, etc.

Strong knowledge of automation tools (Zapier, Pabbly), API, and webhooks.

Excellent copywriting skills for subject lines, CTAs, and short-form messaging.

Analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into action.
