Marketing and Events Manager

The primary responsibility of this role is to strategize, implement, and achieve marketing initiatives that are in line with the UK in India policy goals and country plan, while also ensuring effective stakeholder management. You will also be responsible for planning and executing events in Delhi and other locations across the India network. You will oversee events from start to finish, including evaluation, and collaborate with the wider communications team to provide guidance on event themes, production, and flow to optimize audience turnout and engagement. Additionally, you will manage events budgets and timelines, and work closely with event and design contractors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and providing expert advice on campaign best practices will be a key part of your role. You will also be involved in creating marketing collateral such as letterheads, posters, brochures, newsletters, and digital materials while maintaining consistency in branding and messaging. Building and maintaining strategic relationships with stakeholders both within and outside the organization will be crucial for long-term sustainability and collaboration. Implementing environmentally conscious practices in event planning and execution to reduce the overall environmental impact will also be part of your responsibilities. Keeping updated on marketing and events trends, sharing best practices with the broader team, and being the custodian of India network event guidance documents are essential aspects of this role. The language requirements for this position include proficiency in English and a working knowledge of Hindi. A minimum of a Graduate degree in any stream and at least 3 years of experience in marketing and events delivery are essential. Experience in working with multiple stakeholders, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong organizational abilities are also required. Desirable skills for this role include prior experience in an international, multicultural organization, a degree in Marketing Management, and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
