Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for overall customer meetings, create product pull/demand, revenue generation in his designated territory to achieve his top line and bottom-line targets for agri-inputs. Customer - expected to target plantation segment in coffee, tea, rubber, cardamom, pepper, spices and also other plantation -

  • Achievement of trials, demonstration targets to arrive at bottom line and topline, for all agri-inputs and allied services.
  • Make daily field visits to the farmer locations and the retailer locations, collect database in the recommended format and share them regularly with superiors. Also collect orders along with full payment and send it to head office.
  • Make efforts to sell products & services to farmers as well as to the other retail shops.
  • Needs to be familiar with product usage, characteristics, and technical info related to pesticides, seeds, and fertilizers.
  • Provide timely services to the farmers, retailers, own stores along with giving agri advisory services on package of practices.
  • Achieve monthly targets as per plan. Should be open to relocate as required to meet the business objective.
  • Individual contribution role is the need of the Company. needed. There will be no team to lead.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate / post-graduate in agriculture and farm sciences with 1-3 years of work experience in market development activities in agri input operations, stock delivery & collections.
  • Candidates with diploma in agri sciences with 3-5 years of work experience in agri-input sales, field work, inventory, delivery, forecast and replenishment.
  • Experience in Indian companies where there is huge focus on field work, dealer/distributor connects, B2B contacts and farmer contacts would be desirable.
