As a Crew Sourcing Specialist joining the maritime recruitment team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a comprehensive database of qualified seafarers for various vessel types. Your responsibilities will include: - Maintaining and expanding a database of seafarers for different vessel types such as tankers, bulk carriers, container ships, offshore, and passenger vessels. - Utilizing various sourcing methods like industry networks, social media, and recruitment platforms to source qualified crew for both urgent and planned vessel deployments. - Screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates' qualifications, certifications, and compliance with international maritime standards (MLC, STCW). - Collaborating closely with vessel management and HR to ensure timely and cost-effective crew placement. - Building and nurturing strong relationships with candidates and industry contacts to continuously grow the talent pool. - Monitoring industry trends to anticipate hiring needs and adjusting sourcing strategies accordingly. Qualifications and Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of experience in maritime crew sourcing or recruitment, with a strong network/database of seafarers. - In-depth knowledge of maritime certification, employment law, and compliance requirements. - Proficiency with applicant tracking systems. - Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a global maritime workforce. - Proficient Email communication. - Vision for aggressive & exponential career growth. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience sourcing for a wide variety of vessel types. - Familiarity with crewing logistics and international recruitment challenges. - Relevant certifications in recruitment or maritime crewing are an advantage.
