Role & responsibilities

• Achieve the daily targets(Plan vs. actual)
• Manage daily operations in our plants
• Implementation of Lean, 5S and KAIZEN and best manufacturing practices at shop floor. Implementation of TPM, post and pre control at line.
• Productivity improvement through various variability projects.
• People development by imparting training (Supervisory development, variability reduction, Lean, 7QC, QC, LQC, SPC, TQM, ISO and HIRA etc.) to whole organization. Responsible for Safety at workplace (people, product and services)
• Responsible for Second line development of Meter for capacity enhancement.
• Responsible for development of plants machineries (CAPEX).
• Coordination with planning and procurement team.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standard and procedure .
• Prepare analyze and issue production and performance report.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance in the plant.

Production Planning & Control

• Executing production planning for long term & short term as per budget and sustaining daily production target.
• Ensuring effective use of material and resources towards the achievement of pre-set targets.
• Planning & implementing the preventive & predictive maintenance schedules for improving the overall reliability, and production processes.
• Executing cost saving techniques / measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.

Quality Assurance

• Developing & implementing jigs fixture for the PCB testing and pre calibration/ Functional Testing of the Single Phase/ Three Phase meter, departments; analysing results, trends & suggesting corrective action for external customer satisfaction systems.
• Applying the Coaching & Performance Concept to achieve a Total Quality Workforce; developing systems for communicating standards through Training & Awareness Programs.
• Ensuring adherence to

  Bureau of Indian Standards

  ; maintaining all related documents.
• Identifying areas of quality failures and taking steps to rectify the system. Identifying and propagating the use of quality guidelines, tools, techniques, etc.
• Ensuring adherence to scope of Accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration laboratories.

Project Planning & Execution

• Planning and scheduling site activities to ensure completion of the project within time and budgetary parameters and optimizing resource utilization.
• Preparing technical specifications including network parameters, resource & task scheduling, resource deployment and team meetings for reviewing progress of the project.
• Identifying & developing vendors for all infrastructure requirements during MSC roll outs.
• Deploying review systems to manage execution of projects on time and as per budgeted parameters

Procurement

• Preparing the sample meter for new tender of state Electricity for the supply of Single Phase/three Phase Electronic energy meter as per IS13779/14697, CBIP88/304/325 & Technical specification of the state Electricity.
• Procuring materials, equipments & service in a cost-effective manner; considering inventory positions & operations requirement in accordance with company policies & procedures.
• Extending full support to Purchase Team for procuring right material, on time & at right cost.
