Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager

You will be responsible for managing the daily activities of a production team, including overseeing team members, maintaining housekeeping standards, and meeting production targets. Your role will involve collaborating with different departments to enhance safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency. As a group lead, you will guide projects and assignments, provide feedback to team members, set expectations, and offer coaching and mentoring. Key Responsibilities: - Manage daily production team activities - Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained - Meet production targets - Collaborate with other departments to enhance safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency - Lead projects and work assignments - Provide guidance and feedback to team members - Set expectations and clarify responsibilities - Coach and mentor team members Qualifications: - BE/BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production - 5 to 6 years of supervisory experience in production - Willingness to supervise and support second-shift employees, with a focus on women workforce needs - Ability to address specific challenges faced by women employees (transport, facilities, security) In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you will champion proactive health and safety behaviors, conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis, drive continuous process improvement, and value diversity in perspectives and cultures within the organization.
