Job Description

You will be a part of the Smart Infrastructure Division in Siemens Ltd., a global leader in supplying products, systems, solutions, and services for the transmission and distribution of electrical power infrastructure. The culture at Siemens is defined by caring, agile, respectful, and accountable individuals who value excellence in all aspects. **Role Overview:** As a Production Planning and Control Engineer, your responsibilities will include: - Daily production planning and control to meet turnover targets. - Organizing, monitoring, and controlling the assembly area to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met. - Providing support to technicians by coordinating with different departments. - Monitoring key performance indicators and initiating necessary measures to resolve issues. - Conducting meetings with team members, providing feedback, and assisting in training and development. - Leading improvement projects and activities, and handling internal & external ISO audits. - Tracking input man hours vs output man hours for monthly productivity figures. **Qualification Required:** - B. E. in Mechanical / Production Engineering. - 0-3 years of experience in a related field. - Proficient in English language for effective communication. - Basic knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and Lean Manufacturing principles. - Computer knowledge including spreadsheet and presentation software. You will be based in Kalwa-Thane, working with teams that impact cities and countries, shaping the future. Preferred qualifications include: - Demonstrated knowledge of supervisory approaches and ability to motivate teams. - Flexibility in working approach as per business requirements. - Negotiation skills for resolving issues at grassroots levels.,
