Manufacturing Chemist - Homeopathy Tablet

Key Responsibilities1. Production & Process Management

• Prepare and execute manufacturing batches of homeopathic tablets following approved master batch records (MBRs).
• Oversee trituration, dilution, and blending processes in accordance with homeopathic pharmacopeias (e.g., HPUS, HPI, HAB).
• Operate and monitor equipment such as mixers, granulators, tablet presses, and coating machines.
• Ensure accurate weighing, measuring, and dispensing of raw materials.
• Conduct and document in-process checks (compression force, hardness, friability, weight variation, moisture content, etc.).
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.

2. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with GMP, safety regulations, and internal SOPs.
• Maintain accurate batch production records, deviation reports, and equipment logs.
• Collaborate with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) for sampling, testing, and product release.
• Ensure adherence to cleanliness, sanitation standards, and cross-contamination prevention.

3. Equipment & Facility Management

• Monitor the calibration, maintenance, and validation of production equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering/maintenance for repairs and performance checks.
• Ensure proper environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, cleanliness) required for homeopathic tablet production.

4. Raw Material & Inventory Handling

• Verify identity and quality status of incoming raw materials before use.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials, excipients, and packaging components.
• Ensure proper storage of sensitive homeopathic dilutions and triturations.

5. Continuous Improvement

• Identify process optimization opportunities to improve efficiency, yield, and product quality.
• Participate in audits, internal inspections, and continuous improvement programs.
• Train operators and new staff in manufacturing practices and safety protocols.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 1–3+ years of experience homeopathic manufacturing.
• Experience with tablet production processes preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and homeopathic pharmacopeial standards.
• Strong understanding of tablet manufacturing processes (granulation, compression, coating).
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Work in controlled environments with PPE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,577.22 per month
