Manual Tester

Job Description

Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have 6 months to 1 year of experience in manual testing with strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities. Roles and Responsibilities: Understand and analyze software requirements and specifications. Prepare detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases , test scenarios , and test data . Perform functional , regression , integration , UI , and sanity testing . Identify, record, document, and track bugs using tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure quality deliverables. Report bugs clearly with steps to reproduce and proper documentation. Perform defect verification and regression testing after fixes. Participate in requirement discussions and provide feedback from a QA perspective. Key Skills Required: Manual Testing concepts and software testing life cycle (STLC). Experience in writing test cases, executing test cases, and bug reporting . Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar . Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus. Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries (preferred). Familiarity with web or mobile application testing. Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Good analytical and problem-solving skills . Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment . Time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or related field.
