Manual Tester

Job Description:

We are looking for a Manual Tester with strong functional understanding of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should be able to design and execute test cases, identify defects, perform in-depth functional analysis, and collaborate with product and development teams to enhance product quality.

The candidate should also have a clear understanding of Agile/Scrum sprints and be comfortable working in JIRA based environments. Knowledge of Fintech systems, payment flows, or banking products will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

 Prepare, review, and execute detailed test scenarios and test cases.  Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.

 Conduct functional analysis and ensure alignment of features with business logic.

 Identify, log, and track defects and functional gaps using JIRA.

 Participate in Agile/Scrum sprints, contributing to sprint planning, review, and retrospectives.

 Suggest product enhancements and identify functional flaws during testing cycles.

 Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers.

 Document and maintain clear and accurate test reports and summaries.

 Validate end-to-end workflows for new and existing features.

Skills & Requirements:

 Proven experience in Manual Testing of web and mobile applications.

 Good understanding of STLC, Defect Life Cycle, and UAT processes.

 Strong functional knowledge and ability to identify business process gaps.

 Hands-on experience with JIRA and understanding of Sprint/Agile methodologies.

 Proficiency in test documentation, defect tracking tools, and Excel.

 Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

 Fintech domain knowledge (Payments, UPI, Wallet, or BBPS) will be an added advantage.

Experience: 3.5-6 years of experience in Manual and Functional Testing
