Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Manual Tester with hands-on experience in commercial insurance lines such as Travel, Fire, and Marine Insurance. The ideal candidate should bring deep domain knowledge, strong analytical thinking, and a proactive testing mindset to ensure quality outcomes for high-impact insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios and test cases

Perform manual functional, integration, and regression testing for insurance applications

Identify, log, and track defects to closure using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM)

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure test coverage

Validate end-to-end workflows in insurance modules: Travel, Fire, Marine, and related policies

Participate in test plan reviews, requirement walk-throughs, and defect triages

Support UAT and SIT phases with clear documentation and communication

Required Skills & Experience:

2–4 years of experience in Manual Testing

Mandate domain expertise in Commercial Lines Insurance like Travel, Fire, and Marine Insurance

Experience with policy lifecycle testing – new business, endorsements, renewals, claims

Strong knowledge of STLC and defect lifecycle

Hands-on with tools like JIRA, Quality Center, TestRail, or similar

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced global delivery environment
