Responsibilities

The role holder will be a key part of the office of Project Finance. Key responsibilities include:Financial Analysis and Transaction ExecutionStructure and arrange project finance debt (term loans, bonds, mezzanine, etc.)Prepare detailed financial models with sensitivity\/scenario analysisConduct project appraisal including cash flow analysis, IRR, DSCR, and other key metricsCoordinate with banks, financial institutions, and investors for raising capitalLead negotiations on financing terms, covenants, and security structuresDue Diligence, Documentation and DisbursementManage due diligence processes (financial, legal, technical, insurance)Review and negotiate financing documents (loan agreements, security documents, inter-creditor agreements, TRA, etc.)Ensure compliance with financing conditions precedent and subsequent and timely funds disbursement\/availability for drawdownMonitor project financial performance and lender covenants during construction and operationsCoordinate with Finance & Accounts and Compliance TeamsServe as the connection between the CFO function and the Project Finance functionManage the process of actual flow of funds from investors to projectsSupport\/review processes and compliance pertaining to Audits, FP&A, and TaxCandidate ProfileMBA (Finance), CA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualificationMinimum 5 to 6 years of project finance, investment banking, or corporate finance experience (infrastructure\/renewables preferred)Strong knowledge of financial modelling, credit appraisal, and project finance structures, as well as a strong understanding of financial statementsFamiliarity with RBI\/SEBI regulations, power sector PPAs, and security documentation is preferredGood interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skillsDynamic personality to get the desired information from other teams with good follow-upsKnowledge of investment advisory is an added advantage but not mandatory",
