Manager/Senior Manager Procurement

About the function

ANSR provides full-suite of services in the Finance, Accounts, Taxation and Procurement domain to the GCC (Global Capability Centre) partners. This includes accounting, procurement, local & statutory compliances, reporting activities, business advisory, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, FP&A, setting up internal controls & processes and support to leadership team & parent organization. The GCCs are subsidiaries of large global organizations (mostly listed) in their home countries and are driven by way of strong culture of transparency, high standards of performance, strong controls on compliances and high level of accountability. The finance team works very closely with the GCC leadership and ANSR account managers to provide support through the entire lifecycle of the GCC.

Expectations from this role

1. Maintain and adhere to standard operating procedures and processes relevant to GCCs for procurement function.

2. Establish and maintain governance framework for compliance with contractual terms, develop minimum level of standards of communication to clients and adherence of specific needs to each client.

3. Establish, maintain and report service levels across various sub-processes of the procurement function.

Position: Procurement and Vendor payables

Job Role

• Manage procurement as needed for the GCC in accordance with GCC procurement policy and Authority Matrix
• Review purchase requisitions as per Procurement policy, identify sourcing and conduct vendor scouting to obtain quotations. Perform vendor due diligence as per procurement policy.
• Solicit bids, undertake negotiations with vendors and finalize and obtain approvals.
• The role will be responsible for timely validation and creation of vendors and creation of Purchases orders.
• The person needs to prepare and maintain trackers of purchase orders and vendor contracts.
• This role will be responsible for liasoning with vendors, internal stake holders and finance team.
• This role requires supporting internal accounting, compliance and business teams for timely submission of vendor invoices.
• Work closely with business team to issue the purchase orders in compliance with procurement process.
• Liaise with vendors to send the purchase orders and onboard the vendor in financial systems.
• Validate and submit the vendor invoices to finance on timely basis for payment.
• The person also needs to co-ordinate with finance team to provide input for month end financial closure for the services rendered by vendors and invoices not submitted to the finance team for appropriate recording of expense in relevant month.
• This will require working closely with the business teams to ensure receipt of services and timely submission of invoices in the approval workflow.

Educational Credentials

• MBA, post-graduation or Graduation (with 10+ years experience) in the domain of procurement, vendor management and managing various stakeholders.
• Prior experience of working in procurement function of a multi-national organization for its Indian operations.
