Job Description

The Manager/Senior Manager of Global Sourcing will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize the procurement of materials and services from global suppliers This role involves supplier identification, negotiation, contract management, cost optimization, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality components The individual will play a critical role in supporting TVS Electronics operations and strategic initiatives Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute global source strategies to meet business requirements and cost objectives Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to ensure alignment with quality, cost, and delivery goals Manage RFQ process to lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and long-term partnerships Manage supplier performance through regular evaluations and metrics, ensuring compliance with contracts and SLAs Develop a dashboard for the key performances and publish it to relevant stakeholders on time Identify root causes and take corrective actions to improve supplier performance and ensure non-performance gets eliminated in the system Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs and drive efficient procurement processes Monitor global market trends, risks, and opportunities to ensure a proactive sourcing approach Assess and mitigate risks in the global supply chain and ensure seamless sourcing Implement cost-saving initiatives and continuously improve sourcing processes Implement TCM initiatives and meet or exceed the target set by businesses Ensure adherence to all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards in sourcing activities Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field An MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred 10 to 15 years of experience in global sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a proven track record in strategic sourcing and strong understanding of global markets Preferred to work in the similar industry - IT peripherals and electronics manufacturing, OEMs, ODMs Skills and Competencies: Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills In-depth knowledge of Sourcing, Procurement, Logistics processes Strong analytical skills and practical experience to manage sourcing processes & SCM effectively Excellent skills in managing suppliers across global supplier markets Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in using ERP systems and sourcing tools Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment Strong project management skills and a results-oriented mindset Special certifications on global sourcing & procurement is preferred
