Job Description

As a Vendor Manager at Stripe, you will play a crucial role in leading our outsourced support operations to ensure a world-class support experience for our users. Your responsibilities will include: - Building and owning operational relationships with key partners, both internal and external - Holding external partners and internal stakeholders accountable for performance and contractual commitments - Managing vendor sites staffing and ensuring delivery of required inputs - Conducting Business Reviews with vendors to drive KPI performance - Improving workflow and workforce management practices at vendor sites - Serving as an expert on Stripe products and facilitating process improvements - Transmitting and fostering Stripes" values of user-centric philosophy and culture of transparency, empathy, inclusion, and empowerment To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: Minimum Requirements: - 8+ years of direct Vendor management experience and 3+ years of people management experience - Experience in leading vendor operations teams for technical customer support in high-growth tech companies - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to execute on complex operational projects involving multiple stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in managing large cross-functional and global projects - Proven track record of executing complex initiatives from conception to launch - Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors - Action-oriented with strong organization and attention to detail - Comfortable working in high ambiguity and executing complex projects - Operational background with a data-driven decision-making approach - Proficiency in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic recommendations Additionally, in-office expectations at Stripe vary based on location, role, and team requirements. The hiring manager will provide details regarding the in-office attendance percentage for the specific role.
