Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Workflow Management: Lead the analysis and optimization of business processes to streamline workflow efficiency across departments. Develop and manage end-to-end workflows, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Process Re-engineering: Spearhead process redesign initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality. Identify bottlenecks, recommend changes, and oversee the implementation of new workflows. Apply process re-engineering methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • UX & Design Thinking: Collaborate with UX designers and development teams to create user-centric designs, ensuring that user needs are considered at every stage of the project lifecycle. Lead workshops and brainstorming sessions to encourage innovation through design thinking methodologies.
  • Requirements Gathering: Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across business units. Convert business needs into clear and actionable requirements that can be easily understood by technical teams. Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and technical teams to understand business requirements, assess technology needs, and translate them into functional designs and solutions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations throughout project lifecycles.
  • Change Management: Support change management initiatives by providing necessary training and resources to ensure smooth transitions during process or system upgrades.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create comprehensive process documentation, user guides, and system specifications. Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date and easily accessible for stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement, implementing process changes, and conducting post-implementation reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Experience Level: 10+ years of experience in business consulting with a focus on process re-engineering, workflow automation and UX.
  • Education Level: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Advanced certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Process Improvement (Lean Six Sigma, etc.) preferred.

Mandatory skills:

  • Process Mapping & Improvement: Expertise in analyzing and redesigning business processes to achieve optimal efficiency and performance.
  • UX & Design Thinking: Strong understanding of user experience principles, design thinking, and their application in business analysis.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to work with various stakeholders, from senior executives to operational teams, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are managed.
  • Specific Skills: Proficient in process modeling and analysis tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio, etc.).
  • Agile Methodologies: Hands-on experience with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira for managing and tracking progress.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication. Strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, effective communication, and problem-solving ability
  • Strong understanding of change management processes and frameworks.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project) and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Slack).

Preferred skills

  • Process Automation: Experience with tools for automating workflows and processes, ServiceNow automation highly preferred (other experience considered include, UiPath, Automation Anywhere)
  • Advanced Certifications: Additional certifications in UX Design, Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt), or CSPO.
