Position: Manager- Transportation
Industry: Logistics / SCM (Agro Chemicals & Agro Products)

Key Responsibilities:

• Fleet & Route Management

Plan and optimize daily vehicle deployment for inbound and outbound shipments.

Track and monitor vehicle movements using GPS/fleet management systems.

Ensure on-time dispatches and deliveries across routes in UP and PAN-India.

• Coordination & Vendor Management

Liaise with transport vendors, drivers, and warehouse staff for smooth operations.

Negotiate transport rates, monitor bills, and verify vendor invoices.

Handle escalations related to vehicle breakdowns, route delays, or driver shortages.

• Documentation & Compliance

Prepare transport MIS, trip sheets, LR/Bilty, and daily reporting.

Ensure compliance with statutory and company policies (E-way bills, permits, etc.).

Maintain accurate records of fuel, tolls, and other logistics expenses.

• Operational Efficiency

Identify cost-saving opportunities in transportation.

Monitor vehicle utilization, turnaround time, and cost per km/kg.

Coordinate with warehouse team for efficient loading/unloading.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate/MBA in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in transportation/logistics/warehouse coordination.
• Knowledge of FTL (Full Truck Load), PTL (Part Truck Load), and last-mile delivery.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/WMS, and GPS tracking systems.
• Good communication skills (Hindi & English); familiarity with Lucknow/UP routes preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹640,000.00 per month
