With expertise in Software development, GIS management and system integration, the roles involves creating an agri-tech roadmap aligned with company goals, deploying precision agriculture tools, and integrating GIS with other platforms. Roles and responsibilities as Technology Manager

• Lead, mentor, and manage the agri-tech team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Plan and manage the execution technology projects ensuring on-time delivery with expected quality
• Set performance objectives for team members, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and implement a technology roadmap for agri-tech initiatives, aligning with the companys overall strategic goals.
• Implement best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, version control, and continuous integration.
• Familiarity with sustainable agriculture practices and environmental impact assessment.

Desired skills and competencies

• Software Development: Excellent knowledge of popular programming languages, data structures & cloud computing
• Data Management: Demonstrated experience in MIS and Database Management Systems
• Project Management: Supervisory experience in leading a team of programmers, analysts and subject matter specialists to deliver complex projects

Education and experience

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas are a plus.
• Minimum of 05 years of relevant experience in technology roles.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience, including team leadership and project oversight.
• Demonstrated expertise in software development, including the design, development, and deployment of applications.
• Hands-on experience with GIS management, spatial analysis, and integration of GIS systems will be valued.
• Strong background in integrating systems and technologies with existing infrastructure for improved efficiency and data flow.
