Manager - Supply Chain Procurement

As the Manager - Supply Chain Procurement at Sterlite Electric, your main responsibility will be overseeing and managing the procurement process. You will be in charge of ensuring the procurement of Packaging, Key services, CAPEX, MRO & Project items with a primary focus on cost, deliverables, and meeting the required timelines while adhering to SOP and Procedures. Your key accountabilities/responsibilities will include developing and executing procurement strategies for materials, managing relationships with key suppliers, monitoring the market for price trends, negotiating with suppliers, working closely with operations and production teams for inventory management, implementing cost-saving initiatives, assessing and managing risks related to supply chain disruptions, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies, and overseeing contract administration. The role may require travel as and when necessary.
