Job Description

Job Summary:

Quantity Surveyor (QS) Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare
cost estimates, BOQs, rate analysis, and project budgets
for residential and commercial projects.
Conduct
cost planning and value engineering
to achieve project cost optimization.
Review and certify
contractor / vendor bills, work measurements, and variations
.
Monitor
budget vs. actual project costs
and prepare detailed cost reports for management review.
Coordinate closely with the
Project Execution, Procurement, and Finance teams
for smooth cost control.
Track
material consumption and wastage
to ensure project cost efficiency.
Support in
estimating quantities
and validating work progress at various project stages.
Evaluate
change orders and variations
, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
Provide regular
MIS reports
and project cost summaries to management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of
quantity surveying, estimation, and cost management
.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
.
Sound understanding of
construction drawings, specifications, and project execution methods
.
Analytical and detail-oriented with strong numerical accuracy.
Effective communication and coordination skills across departments.
