Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Establishing Quality plan for the Bought out parts of Engine and Transmission Aggregate .
2. Should have hands on experience of using measuring instruments and CMM . 3. Performing Incoming inspection first principle method.to ensure defect free parts. 4. Gears and shaft Heat treatment knowledge 5.Participation and Co ordination of concern resolution with Field & Assembly line 6. Interpretation skills of Catia and CAD 3D drawings . 7. Ensure that the lessons learned from product families are shared with the platform team (COE, CDMM etc.) for new product development as input for prevention of repeated known issues 8. Provide support and involvement in new product development improvements through early involvement into product development Process and completion of joint PPAP with CDMM. 9. Establishing corrective action plans using structured approach such as 8D, 7QC Tools, Six sigma for the quality issues reported in assembly Line, & Warranty failures. 10. Supplier performance monitoring and drive for performance excellence. 11. Supplier capability improvement by conducting periodic audits, Training & engagement 12. PPAP & Re-PPAP Planning, Audit and approval for Engineering changes

BE/B. Tech in Mechanical , automobile Engineering
