Medhavi Skills University (MSU) is a government-notified private skills university established under a State Act in Sikkim, dedicated to promoting quality skill education and entrepreneurship integrated with higher education. Job Summary

We’re looking for a digital marketing strategist to own Medhavi’s search discoverability, voice visibility, and online reputation.

As Manager - SEO, AEO & ORM, you’ll combine technical SEO, AI-powered content optimisation, and reputation management to shape how Medhavi is found and trusted online. You’ll ensure our content performs across Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other emerging AI search systems, while managing the brand’s public narrative across key platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute holistic SEO, AEO, and ORM strategies across multiple verticals
• Lead keyword clustering, topical mapping, and AI-led content generation for website and blog assets
• Optimise for Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) to enhance visibility in voice, featured snippets, and AI summaries
• Implement geo-led SEO initiatives to strengthen local search for campuses, programmes, and partner institutions
• Partner with the Website PM for technical SEO covering crawl health, schema, Core Web Vitals, and site performance
• Collaborate with Copy, PR, and Thought Leadership teams to create content that builds visibility and authority
• Build backlink and digital PR strategies with academic and industry partners
• Manage ORM across Google, Glassdoor, AmbitionBox, LinkedIn, and social platforms
• Run proactive ORM campaigns that leverage student, alumni, and employee testimonials
• Create AI-assisted content for search, FAQs, and ORM responses that align with brand voice
• Develop dashboards and playbooks for SEO and ORM reporting
• Train cross-functional teams on best practices in SEO, AEO, and reputation management

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in SEO, AEO, and ORM for large-scale, multi-product organisations
• Proven expertise in technical SEO, voice search optimisation, and schema-based content architecture
• Experience managing ORM in high-visibility sectors such as education, HR, or corporate services
• Proficiency with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, BrightLocal, Brandwatch, and AI-SEO tools such as SurferSEO or Clearscope
• Ability to create, optimise, and publish content independently using AI and NLP tools
• Strong communication skills and a balance of analytical and creative thinking
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or Communication; certifications in SEO, AI Content Optimisation, or ORM preferred
• Curious, proactive, and disciplined in staying ahead of AI-driven search and digital reputation trends
