Manager/ Senior Manager - Internal Audit

Role: Planning and

Duties and responsibilities:

Planning & Execution of Concurrent activities as per yearly plan

• Preparation of audit scope, assisting team in preparation of comprehensive and well structured RCM (Risk Control Matrix),
• Conducting process walkthroughs with stakeholders
• Keeping track of regulatory and process related changes (through announcement mailers/ process notes etc) and updation of the same in audit procedure and RCM/Checklist.
• Discussions of audit observations raised by the team with stakeholders for monthly dashboards, ensuring timely closure and managing relationship with stakeholders
• Ensure accuracy & completeness of dashboards by reviewing annexure prepared by the team and sharing it with the dashboard preparation team
• Ensuring maintenance of audit working papers in a structured manner.
• Testing of IFC and SOX controls as applicable and submission of evidences for the same as per timelines

Team Management, dealing with peers and Knowledge sharing

• Sharing knowledge with team members
• On Job training/guidance to New Joinees/team members
• Review of their work at regular intervals and carrying out Quality Control activity of the team to ensure that there are no miss outs by the team (minimum once every month)

Branch Onsite Audit

• Ensuring vendor selection and its empanelment
• Review of Scope / Checklist and methodology for carrying out audit procedures
• Ensuring smooth initiation of audits through external auditor and its timely completion
• Closure of audit deviations and issuance of final reports
• Management Report (Audit Committee)

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• CA with minimum 3 years experience in internal audit/concurrent audit and Min.2 years of Audit experience from BFSI sector)

OR

• Semi CA/Non CA with minimum 6 - 7 years experience in internal audit/concurrent audit and Min 3 years of Audit experience from BFSI sector)
